Assignments are almost done!! *excited* These few weeks are mainly about assignments and with orchestra practice almost every night, I'm pretty worn out by the end of the day.
As some of you might already know, I'm playing the cello in the orchestra. Yes, I know that I've started learning it just for two months and am I crazy if I'm saying that we are going to perform in front of the chief minister of Sarawak and other ministers and all 27 directors from all the institutes? Apparently, our lecturer thinks that we (Ronail and I are the only cellist) are capable of performing since we both have high grades in piano. -.- Hello? I don't think that both of them are the same thing. Sigh. The pressure is seriously on man.
Anyway, I wore cheongsam to class today. The cheongsam isn't like the traditional ones. It doesn't have any splits, neither super short nor long and it has sleeves unlike the traditional ones which has either no sleeves or really short sleeves. I don't think it is inappropriate for class so I wore it after all the rule book said that you can wear traditional attire for classes right. I went to the canteen/cafeteria and someone literally "OI" towards my friends and I and RUDELY called out, "AMOI! YANG PAKAI SPEC! MARI SINI! PUAN ____ PANGGIL." I was like wtf. I have a name and even if you don't know my name, DO NOT FRICKIN OI ME! Apparently, this lovely lecturer of mine said that my cheongsam is too sexy and is not appropriate for class. I was totally speechless. For me, the attire is just nice and just right but for some other people, it is considered as too sexy and inappropriate. One man's meat is definitely another man's poison. -.-
Quote for the day: One man's meat is definitely another man's poison. (too important that I have to re-write)
